Developing your teams

You can’t leave your team’s development to chance. Real progress requires a clear plan, specific goals and deliberate actions.

What we do

We’ll work with you to:

\

Define the team’s unifying goals that the team can only deliver by working together

\

Identify team strengths and leverage them for stronger performance

\

Strengthen communication and trust within the team

\

Transform tensions and conflict into an opportunity to grow

\

Boost problem-solving, creativity, and innovation

\

Strengthen collaboration by exploring team members skills, mutual expectations, values and preferences.

How we help teams improve

We focus on developing the skills, habits, and leadership practices that make the biggest difference to a team’s success. This includes:

Building a healthy team culture:

Helping to develop competencies and working practices that reflect a team’s values and enable better communication, problem-solving, feedback, decision-making and collaboration.

Clarifying accountabilities:

Paying equal attention to collective ownership for results and a leader’s accountability for how the whole team functions as a unit.

Learning through real work:

We use live business challenges as learning opportunities, so new behaviours are practised and applied immediately.

Helping to define what the team needs for success:

By making the most of what the team does best, it’s strengths and ensuring everyone has a clear sense of the team’s purpose, mutual expectations and is working towards shared values and goals.

Pulling in one direction:

Recognising that everyone’s work depends on others in the team and working out how to stop competing goals from distracting attention from what needs to be delivered and potentially causing conflict.

Using the team’s collective wisdom:

By encouraging knowledge-sharing and joint problem-solving within the team, you can spark innovation and improve results.

A team development programme can improve team performance whether you are looking to build a new team and improve inclusion and cohesion or strengthen team dynamics and boost relationships and interpersonal needs.

Our approach

Every team is different, so we’ll put together a solution that fits your needs. Our approach involves engagement, discovery to gain a broader and evidence-based view of the team’s performance, collaborative inquiry to explore limitations to optimal performance and design and facilitation of team workshops. We finalise with a learning impact review and future planning.

Our overall aim is to ensure that the skills, habits and trust built during the programme continue to grow long after the workshops are completed.

“Thank you for helping various teams and departments think differently and work together to make our organisation better.”

Leadership coaching

You can’t grow a high-performing team without a capable, confident leader.

Effective leadership it is a skill that can be learned. It is a mindset and practice that aligns people in a collective direction. It’s about ensuring that all factors which impact on a team’s performance are taken care of and the needs of the team met and letting people work together and accomplish shared goals. It’s also about helping them to adjust to changing environments by creating the conditions to let a team thrive.

Coaching is a development process that helps support you as you develop your skills, resulting in better performance.

What we do

We help leaders develop the skills, mindset, and confidence they need to lead effectively and get the best from their teams.

We will work with you to:

\

Adapt your leadership style to get better results from your team

\

Build trust and encourage openness in your team

\

Improve feedback

\

Transition roles in management levels

\

Leading across cultures

\

Develop self-awareness for better decision making, stronger relationships and effective communication

\

Develop your team’s performance.

How we help leaders grow

Our approach to leadership development means we focus on practical, sustainable change that directly increases leadership effectiveness.

This includes working on:

Improving performance:

Enabling mindset shifts, behavioural change and developing new ways of thinking that lead to better decisions.

Finding your own solutions:

We won’t give you ready-made answers, we’ll ask targeted questions that encourage you to come up with your own ideas and create your own action plan.

Support through feedback:

We give you feedback to help you see your strengths more clearly, allowing you to consider new possibilities, and let you perform at your best.

Seeing you in action:

Your coach might watch you work in meetings or team conversations to give tailored real-time feedback that’s more relevant to your specific situation.

An experience you feel comfortable with:

All your coaching will stay completely private, and by speaking openly you’ll get the most from the sessions for you and your organisation.

Our approach

Coaching can take place face-to-face, on the phone, or on video calls. Text and email are used for support and updates.

The number and length of sessions required depend on the business and individual’s needs.

We specialise in:

\

Up-skilling leaders how to enable and sustain strong team performance over time.

\

Helping leaders manage change by focusing on the people, not just the process.

\

Support leaders who are transitioning roles and/or moving into more senior positions.

\

Developing leaders to work with teams and organisations from different cultural backgrounds.

Our process follows some key steps. Firstly, engagement and discovery to define success measures for a coaching programme and identify key areas for improvement. Secondly, we facilitate coaching sessions. Finally, we undertake a learning impact review and create plans for ongoing development to ensure all changes are sustainable.

‘There was an immediate positive impact on my team. I adapted my style from authoritarian to consultative. By creating an environment where people felt they could safely speak, I appreciated the impact of diversity of thinking on problem solving. Ewa’s qualities as a professional and a person, along with her expertise has helped me to realise how critical it is to maintain and demonstrate genuine integrity in my communication and actions.

My conversations and learning partnership with Eva has been one of the most challenging, but also one of the most fruitful and transformational I have experienced.”

Peer-to-peer coaching groups

Leaders can grow by working through real work challenges and reflecting on how they solved these problems.

Peer coaching groups encourage leaders to learn from their peers, solve real challenges, and grow together.

Leaders often face similar challenges, but many feel isolated and alone with their challenges and so lack a place to share ideas, ask questions and learn from each other in a structured way.

Peer-to-peer coaching can be a solution.

What we do

We bring leaders together in small groups to work through real business challenges, guided by a structured process of questioning and reflection. The focus is on peers helping each other discover their own solutions through skilful questioning and some guidance.

Peer Coaching programmes can help you to:

\

Innovate by gaining fresh perspectives from colleagues in different roles or departments

\

Solve complex problems through shared insight

\

Build trust and stronger working relationships across the organisation

\

Develop leadership skills through practice and reflection

\

Create a culture of openness, inclusion, collaboration, and shared learning.

How it works

Peer-to-peer coaching focuses on practical, real-world learning. It can be used as part of leadership development, organisational change, or project management.

This includes:

Question-led learning:

Using skilled, constructive questioning helps peers explore issues in depth and uncover new solutions.

Using real business challenges:

Working on live situations so learning is immediately relevant.

Sharing expertise:

Tapping into the collective knowledge and experience in the group.

Improved business performance:

Linking personal learning directly to organisational goals.

Our approach

Our process involves working with you to define the purpose of your peer coaching programme in the context of your organisational priorities, working to form diverse groups and up-skilling leaders in using peer coaching process and skills. We facilitate pee-coaching sessions and prepare participants to self-facilitate. We also check-in with groups to support quality of the learning process and finally review the impact and share stories across the organisation.

Peer-to-Peer Coaching is a powerful method to support sustainable cultural changes and leadership development.

“The most useful part of the programme was having access to colleagues who are from different departments. In small groups we could talk about the application of techniques and knowledge. Also, we could go deeper into our individual business priorities/challenges and receive bespoke help from our colleagues.”
